EXPECTATIONS
It is my job to help you keep the integrity of your hair. I will work to the best of my knowledge to provide you the information and products you need to make positive changes in your curly lifestyle. Please keep in mind that it may take time to free your hair of the heavy, oil based products that may have been used on a regular basis or heat damage you may have experienced. All good things take time, so come in with an open mind and you'll see amazing things happen on your curly journey.

HOW DO I PREP FOR MY CURL CUT?
Please arrive at the salon with your curls detangled and 100% dry, a little product is ok.
It's best to let your hair hang loosely-avoid ponytail holders or clips. If detangling or diffusing is necessary before your appointment, a $35 prep fee will be added (IF TIME ALLOWS). Please understand the importance of coming with hair prepared, as I may need you to reschedule if I do not have the time to add the extra service.

IS MY HAIR RIGHT FOR A DRY CUT?
If you wear your hair in a curly state most (or 100%) of the time, the dry cutting method is recommended for you.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
A first time curly cut appointment takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to 2.5 hours, which will include a thorough consultation. Returning guests can expect appointments to be approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on length and density.

I'M A FIRST TIME CLIENT, CAN I BOOK A COLOR?
For first time guests, I require a haircut appointment first.

DO YOU SEE CHILDREN?
I do. My pricing is the same for both children and adults. Children must be able to sit through the service and be older than 7 years old.

RETURNING CLIENTS
Maintenance is important in keeping up with your curly routine, for shorter curly cuts 3-4 months is recommended and longer hair can be maintained every 3-6 months depending on your style preference and health of hair. If I haven't seen you in over a year, please book a new client appointment.
